European Chemical Society (EuChemS)

The European Chemical Society (EuChemS) aims to nurture a platform for scientific discussion and provide a single, unbiased European voice on key policy issues in chemistry and related fields.
Active since 1970, EuChemS represents more than 160,000 chemists from more than 51 member societies and other chemistry related organisations.
Via a network of active researchers, EuChemS promotes the chemical sciences among non-chemists and policy-makers. Through a combination of these promotion efforts and by providing expert and scientific advice, EuChemS is working toward finding the solution to some of today’s biggest societal challenges.
European Young Chemists’ Network (EYCN) will have a platform at the congress and this content will be developed and listed once confirmed.

Magritek

Founded in 2004, Magritek is the global leader in manufacturing cryogen-free benchtop Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectrometers for the analytical instrument market. Magritek’s revolutionary 80 MHz, 60 MHz and 43 MHz Spinsolve family of benchtop NMR models offer the highest sensitivity and resolution available in the market.  These portable systems are robust and easy to use, allowing modern NMR methods to be performed on the chemistry lab bench or inside the fume hood next to a reactor. Spinsolve NMR spectrometers are used daily by scientists in research labs to quantify and identify sample compositions, confirm reaction completions and elucidate unknown molecular structures.

Magritek customers include the top universities and chemistry research groups in the world, as well as leading companies in the pharmaceutical, fine chemical, petrochemical, forensics, food and polymer industries, amongst others.  Decades of world-class research by the teams of Ampere prize winner Professor Bernhard Bluemich at RWTH Aachen University, and Gunther Laukien prize winner Paul Callaghan at Massey University and Victoria University of Wellington led to the exceptional technology found at the core of Magritek’s products. Magritek has offices in Germany, USA and New Zealand, as well as a worldwide network of partners to help support its customers.

Fluorochem

Fluorochem is the UK’s largest Independent Research Chemical Supplier, offering an extensive range of intermediates, reagents, building blocks and deuterated solvents, spanning over 16500 scaffold groups.
In order to help customers search our sizable catalogue, we launched the Doug Discovery platform. The website uses a novel method to search by functional and structural groups, reducing the time spent finding chemicals and therefore allowing the chemist to spend more time on research.
Fluorochem have recently established offices in Ireland and the Netherlands to overcome the challenges of Brexit enabling us to continue to supply our European customers in a timely manner.
Throughout the fifty-something years that Fluorochem has been around, research has always been at the core of its values. We know how important it is to maintain the supply-chain and do our best as a company to offer competitive prices, fast delivery and quality, friendly customer service. We pride ourselves on giving a professional service with a personal touch.

De Gruyter

Traditionally chemistry combines diverse disciplines ranging from inorganic and organic chemistry to physical and theoretical chemistry as well as biochemistry and analytics. Especially in the German-speaking world, De Gruyter is renowned for its publications in the inorganic chemistry field, including in particular the textbook titles from Holleman/Wiberg and Riedel, as well as the German edition of Huhey/Keiter and Keiter. Current chemistry research is increasingly interdisciplinary in nature and application-driven. Hence there are also overlaps with physics, materials science, biology, (bio) technology and computer science, which can also be found in De Gruyter’s excellent portfolio. In addition to books, De Gruyter’s chemistry portfolio also includes journals and, from 2016, a database. The latter is being developed in collaboration with the IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) for their Standards and Recommendations.
